This certification is part of the QA Health and Safety qualification suite. The certification and learning outcomes are based on the following recommendations:
National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Health and Safety
Good practice outlined by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
ConstructionSkills and the Build Environment Awarding Body Forum (BEABF)
This course, which is supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), strengthens Learners’ fundamental knowledge of health and safety in a construction setting. Which requires understanding the risks of operating in a building environment, as well as the principles of risk management for improving workplace health and safety, the value of proper manual handling, working safely at height, and working safely with equipment.
This certification specification provides Centres with knowledge on delivering the QA Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF), including unit information, evaluation procedures, and quality assurance arrangements.
Certificate
Learners who successfully complete this course will receive a Level 1 Certification in Construction Health and Safety as well as a training manual.
There are no prerequisites for enrolling in this course; however, students must be physically capable of carrying out the procedures in this course.
